It's an anti American thing going back years, I remember when I worked for the European Commission back in the mid 90s there was a very strong anti US ethic going even though some of the biggest freeloaders were American “consultants.”

Interesting thoughts that hadn't occurred to me. Am I alone in thinking it's really unfair to expect MS to have to offer a choice? I find it weird. If you sell Toyota cars, you'll offer Toyota genuine accessories. Is the commission going to demand that car manufacturers offer 5 different types of towbar or alloy wheels in their brochures?
