Where To Now …

by kevincumbria on June 14, 2009 · View Comments

The last four days have been spent making an honest blog of Web2 and More by getting its own domain name, setting up WordPress away from the WP hosting facility and importing and welcoming previous posts to their new home.

I have also established a support site which will help Web2 and More become more of a resource. This site is pretty simple at the moment but the main tasks will be to start building a resource directory and get to grips with Joomla to make the user experience more satisfying.

As well as reviews of Web2 services and general news I have some interviews lined up with some of the leading industry players.

I haven't had much of a chance to play with it or watch the 3.,5 hour video I downloaded at the weekend. I have ordered Teach Yourself Joomla for Dummies which pretty much sums up where I am :-)

It appears pretty much like Tridion which I have used in the past so hopefully I should pick it up pretty quickly.
  • How do you like Joomla? I haven't done anything with it yet. Done quite a bit of Drupal, but haven't had a Joomla project come up yet.
